I have worked as a secretary for companies and organisations since 1983. I have good typing skills, which are useful for web and graphic design, with 38 years' copy typing and 30 years' audio typing experience. Speed for both is around 85 words per minute.
I left permanent employment to become a self employed legal and medical transcriptionist in 2009.
I am now studying to become a web and graphic designer. To date I have undertaken graphic and web design (telematic) courses and currently undertaking a course with The Learning People which once completed will enable me to work as a Full Stack Web Designer.

A virtual office is open literally when you need it to be - I work very flexible hours Monday to Friday and work at weekends, subject to negotiation.
Work required urgently or at weekends is subject to additional charge.
My aim is to provide a professional fast graphic and web design service when you need it. Time is money, especially in the current financial climate, so it makes perfect business sense to pay for staff when you need them - save on National Insurance, sick pay, overtime and staff that are unable (or unwilling!) to work when you need them to after close of business and pay for the time you need when you need it. By using a self employed graphic/web designer, you also cut out the agency commission too, and get to know the person undertaking the work, resulting in a better working relationship and a fast turnaround.
